Ann Ross Bio
Licensed Massage Practitioner

I grew up a small town girl attending elementary, junior high & high school in the
Snoqualmie Valley
.  My first taste of understanding the type of work that brought me joy was my job at a retirement home while I was in high school.  While my responsibilities weren't large, I enjoyed the relationships I had established with the residents while working there.  Whether it was just a few moments spent talking to a resident about his/her day or, looking forward to hearing my favorite couple talk about the trip across the world they had just taken, I knew that they found joy in being able to share those precious experiences with me.  I didn't know it then, but I was making a difference in someone's life, and it was something I looked forward to every day I went to work.

As I got older, I spent some time going over the things in my life that had always brought me joy, and it was in making a difference in anothers life that I had always found happiness.  My fascination with the human body and the medical field is also something that I have been passionate about.  Wanting a career where I could create close relationships with others while fulfilling my passion in the medical field, I decided to try my hand at massage therapy.  So, I enrolled in school, went through a grueling year of a full time job, night school, a hospital internship and finally, graduated with honors on a gorgeous August day in 2004!

The moment I attended school, and every day since I have been in love with what I do.  I enjoy the appreciation in each of my clients after a session.  The look on each of their faces as they step out of the room after a massage.  I love working closely with someone that has been injured, committing to a treatment plan together, and seeing the outcome after weeks of time spent together.  I love the way a massage can calm someone after a stressful day and help ease the anxiety we all carry around.  The words of gratitude and appreciation I receive are what keep me coming to work every day.  Most of all, I love the feeling that work is not work at all, but merely a task each day of my life, allowing me to nurture people that are in need of a little care.
